I want a rice cooker that will do 3-5 cups, with a warming feature. Vegetable steaming rack would be nice too, but i mainly want the rice. Panasonic seems to have soem decent ones, and zogirusghdshgipoi or whatever it's called seemed nice too. Their lower end ones had some complaints though, and the higher end ones were just more than what I really want.. who needs fuzzy logic on a rice cooker, all that means is it adjusts the temperature based on variables. That's what I use MY fuzzy logic for. If I can find a good one with a timer so that it will start at a given time for under $100 that would be good, otherwise I'd rather spend about $60-$70.

Since a lot of asians frequent this board, I thought they would have the best advice. Can't go wrong with the advice of people who eat rice with every meal. (And yes I know that not all asians eat this way) I can't wait to get a good cooker, I want to make the jasmine rice that Thai restaraunts use, and also get the sticky rice to come out good for sushi.

I eat rice everyday, and I've found that different brands of rice affects the outcome more than the rice cooker itself. I had to use a really old old old rice cooker before, with no warming feature, and it tasted just like the rice I cooked the next day with a new Panasonic one.
IMO, a rice cooker is a rice cooker.

this one this isn't the fuzzy logic model either.

EDIT: ok trust me, you want the one with that type of lid, not the crappy glass lid one. the glass lid is a PITA to clean everytime you cook rice.
