When choosing a tequila, the important thing is to buy 100% agave. The cheaper stuff is always a mixto and the quality usually sucks. Stepping up a little in price you can get the real pure agave stuff and most of it is very very good. El Jimador is about the best you're going to find in the $20 price range.
