Like the title says, I'm looking for a good fan that's QUIET!!

I'll be cooling either an XP2200+ TB or an el-cheapo 1500+ Palomino.

Your recommendations?

vantex airoflow is fairly silent. I am sure zlaman has even quiter solutions.

personally I would use a thermalright sk800u with a quite 80mm fan

i really like the thermalright heatsinks (the slk900 is killer) and then use a low rpm fan

my personal setup is a slk800 with a panaflo L1a (almost totally silent)

dang skippy :)
i replaced all my case fans with panaflo L1A 80mm fans (6 fans including the one on my slk800 heatsink)

the end product is very quiet and runs nice and cool :D
