What's a good portable NAV system for a car?

Anyone have any experience with this?

Edit-She's a realtor and this would be really useful for her...not just a gimmick.

A couple of my co-workers rave about their TomTom.

Normally I'm a cheapskate, but in this case I would bend over and pay the $2500 for a Lexus Nav system. Portable ones may be better at lower prices, but it wouldn't look professional with the clients specially the odd time that she has to taxi the clients around.

I agree with that.
What kind of Lexus? I saw a 2001-2005 GS430 nav headunit and etc going for 2k on ebay. An aftermarket headunit would be ok, there are a few that would still look classy in a Lexus. Those would run from 1-2k. but i guess for around the 6-700 mark, you would need to get a Garmin or TomTom. Those aren't for me, but get what you think would be best for your wife's needs.
