Whats a good online computer store.

My personal preferences:

CPU's: Atacom
RAM: depends on type of RAM I'm getting (usually stick to mushkin).
Video Cards: Buy.com/Amazon.com/Onvia.com (pretty much any big reputable dealer that I have gift certificates lying around for at the time).
any other components: I go for a combination of pricewatch with a heaping side or resellerratings.com .

Search pricewatch for mwave Not exactly the cheapest prices on the web but they are always competitve and a top notch operation. I've placed several large orders from them and have never had a problem. I'm sure that a lot of other member will vouch for them too.

I get everything from DVDs to computer hardware to my latest Fuji digital camera purchase from Buy.com 😉

I would have to suggest Onvia.com. Great base prices plus "compatible " with a few hot deals (check out that forum for more). Also shipping is currently free. I've made $1k in purchases and I've been extremely satisfied with the prices and support.

Out of the ones listed thus far I have purchased from buycomp.com (buy.com), pcmall.com, and Atacom. Atacom is local to me so I haven't bought from them online. Buycomp was great the time I had to return something to them. I recommended them to a couple friends because they had a great deal on something at the time (I don't remember what now) and they also continue to use them and have had great service on returns. Out of all the places I've ordered from online buy.com has the fastest turnaround on delivery. I saw a thread about them on this forum where the person who started it had been annoyed that he missed the first delivery of his item because it arrived before they told him it would. This has been common for me.

Now, out of all those fine online computer equipment dealers, which ones also get brand new products in stock right when they are first released? (Generally, the larger players like Buy and Onvia don't, because they can't get enough quantity from the first production runs.)
