whats a good non noisy low priced DVD ROM?

I'm using the Hi-Val 16X. I don't remember the exact price, but I think it was under $70 at a local store's retail price, so you could get it much cheaper somewhere else.

It's really fast, and REALLY QUIET. It sounds like a whisper when it starts up.

On the other hand, my Yamaha burner sounds like a rocket about to launch when it starts up LOL. (well, it kinda is)
 
When you're watching a DVD movie and have the sound turned up to 118 decibels, who cares how loud the DVD player is? I really don't understand this. I see it posted at least once a day. My fans are louder than my DVD drive.
 
maybe becuase on my computer i dont have good 5.1 surround sound and dont need it when im at my computer
 
I recommend the Toshiba SD-M1612 as a quiet DVD-ROM, it's also a very good performer.
