What's a good non-bloated CD/DVD Burner software?

I just installed Windows 7 (Build 7600 RTM) and my older version of Nero (Ver. 6.6) will not install properly. I loved that program any Non-bloated alternatives? That don't suck?
Thanks

But really, what's wrong with just using window's built-in capabilities?

Have they improved over Vista and XP's? What I mean is, I can burn a disk full of files in just a few minutes using third party software. It takes 2 steps (essentially, drag files to program, click burn) and it is done. The Vista built in tools takes like 6 steps, and 5 times as long, which is a slight exageration, I admit, but when it is a difference between 5 minutes for a CD with third party stuff, and something like 20 minutes (alright, so 4 times as long) for those same files with Vista built in, and you are in a hurry, those extra 15 minutes take for freaking ever.

Well, I just went through the process (admittedly, I haven't burned anything to disc in a long time).

There are some wizards that lets you choose disc name and burn type (finalize disc, or r/w). Then, when you drag files to the disc, it copies those files to a temp location. That's the only irritating part.

Features are certainly limited, compared to something like ImgBurn. But for simple burning, it works pretty well.

ImgBurn should be fine (for a free program) .. If you decide on Nero or Roxio, just do a custom install so you don't get all the extra bloat.
UltrraISO is also am excellent, but not free program (fairly inexpensive)

I did a custom install for Nero 7 before when using Windows XP. Even with custom install, the program size was still like 1GB big, compared to under 100MB for Nero 6.

@OP. I'm in the same situation as you, and I found that running Nero 6 in compatibility mode works just as well. You do however lose the Nero Image Drive.

Does img burn just burn images only? What if you were trying to burn a Data DVD, I couldn't find anything on the img burn website.

I use Imgburn mostly to burn data DVDs and it great for that. you can set it up for 32 char labels which helps a lot as I hate the 16 char limitation of most every other burning software have.

I've never used ImgBurn, but InfraRecorder does all I need. Great interface, fast, reliable. FOSS FTW!

I would use only infra, but I like the silly quotes that come up with Imgburn :^D Not the best reason to use software, but there it is :^D

I have Imgburn and Infrarecorder both installed, but find myself using Infrarecorder 95% of the time. Infrarecorder's interface is more "intuitive and easier to read for me.

W7 can burn ISOs, too.

I bought a license for Nero 8, and either it or W7 bitched about it, but it installed and runs fine.
