read on drugstore.com its not recommended. currently taking centrum a to z, but it has iron in it so I might be switching off it. Maybe Twinlabs which is a big seller at drugstore.com and has no iron. I'm 19 yrs old btw.
 
I take the Target brand equivalent of Centrum Performance, which contains 18 mg iron per dose. I have also heard that, unless you have a deficiency, supplemental iron is bad for you. I personally have yet to experience any ill effects, but...

What is it exactly that makes iron bad? I'm sure I read it, but I don't remember.

like what ikonomi said, I read that it is bad for you unless you have an iron deficiency. I have read that excess iron damages blood vessels and leads to heart disease.
