What's a good motherboard that supports the AMD X4 9850?

It has the 790FX + SB750.

Read it is supposed to be released next week or so. It has the better overclocking abilities.

Asus announces 790FX+SB750 based motherboard

Well, we don't really know that yet. The only thing the 790FX has over the 790GX is dual PCi-E 2.0 16x lanes for Crossfire. If we take the 790FX/SB750 Foxconn board for example- it is getting the same OCs as the GX boards (due mostly to the awesome SB750) but it is more expensive. You will have to check for sure though that the board you purchase has NB Multi options present in the Bios. I know the Foxconn 790FX/SB750 board does and the Asus board JPB linked will aswell and I am 99% sure all the GX boards have NB multi available. I still reckon either the 790GX Foxconn/Biostar boards but you can't go wrong with the 790FX either :).

Yep, Sylvanas is correct. I just recommened the Asus board because *usually* they have better quality and stuff like that. However, I don't think it really matters as long as its the new SB750. Which is awesome by the way.

Like he said, cannot go wrong with any of them with that south bridge.

I am actually considering the Asus board for a second build.

And yea, not exactly sure when the M3A79-T Deluxe will be released, But I just read in a forum today, that it *should* be out next week...Due to refining the bios options ? Or something along those lines.

I am waiting very impatiently for the Asus M3A79-T Deluxe.

I am using the Jetway HA04 Extreme with the 790FX and 600SB but as soon as that ASUS shows up online I am getting one.

Does anyone here have any inside info that might indictate what day we might seethose available.

BTW to the OP... if you are interested, I will be selling my board as soon as that ASUS comes out, if your interested PM me.
