Whats a good MMORPG to play these days.......

If you like PvP but dont want to be forced to PvP, dark age of camelot is a solid game. Its based around realm vs realm combat, theres 3 sides that war against each other for territory and relics. The side that controls relics gets realm-wide bonuses to all the classes in that realm.

Its keeping me occupied 🙂

I have been playing Horzons the last 8 months or so, but I don't have the time for it anymore. I have a copy paid up until ~8th of next month if you're interested😀

Is Horizons good? I used to follow it back when they were only developing it. It was going to be amazing. I wonder how much they compromised...

World of Warcraft should be entering beta soon, may be out by summer if you want to wait that long. If not,I give a vote for Camelot as well.

I was in the beta for the last 6 months or so and it was awsome.

I played Shadowbane a lot (my first mmorpg). It was plagued by bugs but they're mostly fixed now. However, the server populations are somewhat low. The entire game revolves against pvp, gvg, and guild v guild. It's pretty cool how players build cities and control all the 'land' in the game.

I'm probby gonna check out Isteria. It's supposed to be a little like Shadowbane in the pvp aspect.

It's pretty well put together, but it's SLOW. If you don't have a good computer, it doesn't run that well, compounding the pain.

That said, a lot of people love it, and teaming with other people works very well.
