What's a good keyboard?

My old computer had a generic keyboard which only allowed me to press three keys at a time. Is this a limitation of the PS/2 spec, or was it just that keyboard? Either way, in order to solve this problem, what keyboard should I get? Do the numbers of keys that it is possible to press at one time vary from keyboard to keyboard, or should any non-PS/2 (i.e. USB) keyboard work? The reason I'd like this functionality is that I play ZSNES using a keyboard, and the SNES has 12 possible keys that could be held down at any time (9 if you discount multiple d-pad directions).

Thanks!

I have a keyboard comment. I recently bought a new Microsoft keyboard and mouse. This new keyboard has the home/end/page up/page down/ins/del layout different from all other keyboards. This new layout doesn't have the Ins key either. If you use those keys like me, it's a real big pain.

i have no idea, and why not just buy a gravis game pad, i use mine win snes9x, works perfectly, they cost like 12$

I intend to get a Saitek P880, yes, but a good keyboard always comes in handy. Besides, SNES gaming on a keyboard is so much better than on a gamepad. 😛

I have their Natural keyboard that did that. But there is an Insert. It shares a button with Print Screen. Your F Lock button determines if the key is insert or print screen. F light on means Insert is on. I don't mind the new config once I got used to it.

just go buy a cheap usb keyboard, it it doesn't work take it back and buy the next most expensive keyboard, and keep going until you get one that works.

What games do you play that you need to press more than 3 keys down at the same time???
