I heard that the stock heatsink for the AMD 64 3500 Winchesters aren't that great, especially if I plan on OCing. Whats a good heatsink for that processor? Thanks!

any of those.

I got a XP-90c for my 3700+ (just because ive used the Zalman 7000CU on my 3200+ and even though it worked wonders, i though it was time to try the heatpipe craze)

i would go with a thermalright xp90 as it seems to be better in certain benches than the xp120 (which i thought was weird...)

Actually, I'm o/c'ng both my AMD64's using the factory HSF. Seems to work fairly well for me. Then again, both my processors are Winchesters which run a bit cooler than previous cores. I heard the Venice cores are cooler still. Unless you have to crank up the core voltage to o/c, you can probably just make do with the retail unit.

got a XP-120, but now would rather have a XP-90 to have some space in my case and have the ram slots free. (dfi nf4 ultra)
Xp-90 would allow easier access to the DIMMS and room for a nice fan mounted over the memory.

Otherwise both are GOOD w/ XP-120 the advantage of being able to use a quiter 120mm fan.

I think the xp 90 does better because of the fan. I have heard you need a really good 120mm fan (like over 100 CFM) to get the full benefit of the 120mm. Bresides, even with a massive fan, they are onlt a couple degrees apart and the xp-90 is sooooo much cheaper.

By sooo much cheaper he means $15. And if you value your hearing the XP-120 is vastly superior.
