I have no PS2 games. Last game I owned was GTA3 but I sold it after it got boring to play.

Yeah, I hear Ravenshield is a blast. I might pick it up.
 
I love Ghost Recon. A little old, but you can get the full game with both expansion packs at Wal-Mart for $40....that's what I did.
 
I'm playin alot of Masters of Orion 3 right now. Seems to be basically a cool looking spreadhseet most times, but damn its addictive 🙂

I forsee me spending ALOT of time on this game.
 
Postal2, Devastation, and Raven Shield 3 for the PC. I don't have a PS2.

Postal2 is pretty funny if you have an unusual sense of humor. It's not for everyone. Devastation is a good FPS with some goofy AI(what FPS doesn't have goofy AI?). And Raven Shield is a hardcore FPS that is pretty cool too.

I couldn't get into Splinter Cell, 3rd person games aren't really my thing.

i tried it and hated it, just like i hate all tactical shooters. i wish i had the skillz to play CS still, but i don't 😛 warcraft 3 or generals is your best bet, with postal 2 a good choice as well 🙂
 
For PC I recommend Americas Army (it's free), BF1942, MOHAA + expanasion.
For PS2 MGS2 Substance, Devil May Cry 1&2, Red Faction 1&2. Those are my current favs.
 
Another vote for BF 1942 or C&C: Generals.

Freelancer was a great game as well. I just wish the single player lasted a little longer.

I set that up on my server this weekend to see if I couldn't figure out how to pilot the friggin choppers. Six hours later my wife's telling me to go to bed and I still spin the damn choppers out of control.

I kinda gave up on them for the time being. I have a joystick arriving in the mail today....I'll see if that helps.

I mostly do the AA/artillery/mines/expacks/being annoying thing. Makes for low scores, but really slows down the other sides vehicles and overall mobility. 😀
