I'm pretty bored right now, and I was wondering what would be a good PC game to buy. I know I'm gonna buy HL2 when it comes out, but I wanna know some good games to get right now that are already released (obviously).

Don't buy Sims 2. Retarded game. Call of Duty expansion was really good.

I think I may reinstall BF1942.

Mmmm...bf 1942. I think i'm going to have to play some DC.

I can't wait for halflife 2 to come out, I bought a gefroce 6800GT and I played doom once on it,, and then I stopped....becuase doom sucked 🙁 Now I Need a game that can actually make use of my card.

what about knights of honor? i think its supposed to be "Age of" like. anyone played it yet?
 
Depends upon the genre of game you want to play. Battlefield Vietnam is a pretty good game. You might also want to play Tribes 2. Yes I know it's old but it's still fun. The Tribes Vengeance multiplayer demo is pretty good as well.
 
I think I'm getting ready to try out Neocron 2. It's an MMORPG that is in first person and has real-time combat.

I'd suggest Chronicles of Riddick for Xbox if you have one.

Of course Far Cry if you haven't played, any Medal of Honor is always a good time, Serious Sam, Hit man Contracts, Star Wars Battle Front, all good games in my book.
 
Two fps that didn't get much press, but we very entertaining & can now be had incredibly cheap are Vietcong(plus expansion) & Ironstorm(alternate reality WW1 set in the 60s).

Of course, I will always recommend my favorite fps/driving/action game of all time: Mafia. 🙂
 
I'm just waiting for Gran Turismo 4.

I might see how Half Life is, but after Doom3, I need some other Genre to please me.
