Going to upgrade my stock fans to 5 Panaflo L1A's (actually the different model that is the same thing, forget the name). What is a good fan controller to use to control all 5? Or, are the Panaflo's quiet enough where I won't need one?

anymore suggestions? That goes for 15 on newegg and I don't need the rest of the stuff with it. Also only has controls for 4 fans.

FYI you can dasiy-chain 2 fans to one channel safely if they're under the wattage per channel; 2 Panaflos are not going to overload 1 control. Heck, you could hook up all 5 to one and still not exceed the limit, I think.

Build a 6 fan controller yourself? There's lots of good tutorials online, and if you have a local radioshack the parts are just a drive away. I think building them on the bay covers from your case look much nicer than the ugmo retail units that never match.

Check here for a review on heaps of fan controllers. I personally like the superflower one, but it also only has controls for 4 fans. I think there's a zalman one that controls 6 fans. No temp or speed reporting though.

vantecs good. building not worth it these days with build quality/selection/price. heck u can put 4 panaflos on 1 channel:) i have 4 leds on one channel in one case. course for an 1080 better to split into groups of two. front/back... so u can balance pressure etc.
