what's a good, easy to use digital camera for older people

I'd like to get them a good quality but basic 3 megapixel or better digital camera.
For instance, I have a canon A510. It's a low end canon camera, but I know this would be way to complex for them.

any ideas?

Kodak? I dont care what people say. They make very decent cameras for basic beginning photography.

Kodak. I'm not sure if you can still get them but the CX7330 was a pretty good choice. If not, pretty much any of the Easy Share ones are simple and fairly good quality.

The biggest problem I see with a lot of the other brands is that yes, many of them make pretty simple cameras, however they tend to be small (Canon SD series for example), too small for the older generations to use comfortably.

I'll have to turn in my geek card and say a Kodak or HP with the docking station with the simply "send to computer", "send to printer", or "send to email" button on the dock.
