My Radeon 7500 rocks. But, The MX440 puts up a good fight, both in performance, and Dual Monitor Software (ie nView vs HydraVision). But, the Radeon 9000 will totally blow away the MX series in performance. And taking a look at PriceWatch, it shows that Radeon 9000's are already down to $80-90. I would go for the 9000. its not quite at 8500LE performance levels, but it certainly will topple the MX series and the 7500.

Presuming the only factor is multi-monitor capabilities then I'd look towards Matrox or Appian. Both have an extremely versatile, user friendly and fully featured multi-monitor implementation.

Agreed, my opinion was based on if u needed 3D Performance, but by all means, if 3D Performance doesn't matter then go with a MAtrox G400 (or maybe, a Parhelia;)).
