Whats a good digital camera for under $150?

I need a new digital camera for under $150. Must have a rechargeable battery, a viewfinder a plus. Mostly for camping trips, ebay pics, outdoor stuff. Any good ones you guys like? thanks

I got a Fuji F20 for under 150. Pretty feature rich and 6MP IIRC. Does MP4 640x480 30fps movies. Good ISO. So so lense for a POS.

i would think that my 2 year old nikon coolpix 7900 would be under $250 by now (even though its discontinued, i still see vendors selling it).

excellent digital camera. one of the best ive ever used.

I'm a bit confused about your definition of "rechargeable battery"... AA and AAA format NiMH rechargeables may not be as small as proprietaries, but they sure are much easier to come by...

For instance, the Canon A460 or the one of the older A530 and above are quite small and powerful. You have a viewfinder as well as a screen... and they are quite capable - the SD storage format is probably the cheapest and widespread, too...

Recommendations so far:

Fujifilm - one for the F20 model
Nikon - one for the CoolPix 7200
Canon - one more general for the A4xx-A5xx series, two specific for PowerShot A560.

Do we have a winner yet? 😛
