Whats a good controller for Unreal and Quake

I need to find a controller for Unreal T and Quake games
Any recommendations other than the Keyboard and mouse

I've tried other controlers but I went back to a keyboard mouse combo...much better.

I started long time ago with joypad,but soon went to the best method of mouse & Keyboard,btw I do like the Logitech optical Mouseman Wheel for online gaming.

Logitech optical trackball and MS Force Feedback 2 joystick. OH YA, and I ROCK with my joystick (Although QIII and UT don't have force feedback )!

If your looking at buying new input hardware, then I would check out an optical mouse. After having used a Microsoft Intellimouse Optical for several months, I would NEVER go back to the roller. Just imagine how smooth and free a mouse would feel if it didn't have a ball.
