What's a good "class 1" modem?

I am building a 2k3 server, and I would like to use the fax service. I noticed the following in the hardware requirements

newegg has only two "class 1" modems (Text), and they are both of the scary cheap kind. Can any one recommend a reliable "class 1" modem with decent drivers ?

 
i would think that any v92 modem would suffice. Best to get a named brand to avoid installation problems - or, if you can get hold of one, an external usb modem was the easiest install i ever done
