What's a good case for ~$65?

Recently I ordered a CoolerMaster HAF 912 from a local retailer and it came in a really bad shape. The front part (plastic) had numerous cracks and structural damage. I think it was shipped in a rough condition which led to this.

I'm refunding and getting another case now. Is HAF 912 good (If it is shipped undamaged) and how fragile is it? Or is it other cases that are roughly $65 (No discounts or rebates please - not in US.) that are good?

HAF 912 is good. Antec 300 is also a good budget case.

I've owned 3 Antec cases (Nine Hundred, P182, Solo) and they're all solid.

What suprised me is the new (not really new, but new to me) Rosewill cases. Cases such as the Destroyer, Challenger, Blackbone seem to be pretty good cases with great airflow and cable management. Some, even better than the Antecs I've own. The best part is that they don't cost a fortune. My friend just ordered a Rosewill Destroyer and I'm helping him build it on Monday.

Excellent case

I've used an Antec 300 before and now have the PC-K62 (very similar to that linked case). That Lian Li case has far superior cable management.

Nice-looking case. Front bezel is certainly more elegant than the PC-K57.

However, the PC-K57 was designed for those extra-long performance video cards, has cable management, USB3 on the front panel, and a few other advantages...and is $5 less. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...&SID=u00000687

Shows how long I've been out of the loop maybe, but when did Lian Li start making cases that weren't 100% aluminum and that cost a fortune for a basic looking case?

not exactly sure when they started churning out the lancool line but you do certainly get plenty bang for your buck.

I just bough a Antec Three Hundred + BP430 from shell shocker and I have to say I am deeply disappointed, I got it for $80 - $25MIR, cant really complain is the MIR is honored but still... I won a Sonata II and this thing is so much crappier... my biggest complaint is the HDD mounts or the lack of it, HDD have to be directly mounted to the cage with screws, no rubber padding??? seriously???

Go with the Lian Li, you will be much happier, don't think about Antec

Some Antec cases have rubber grommets, some don't.

Same with Lian Li. Some do, some don't.
