What's a Good Broadband ISP in San Jose?

Anyone have any recommendations on who would be a good Broadband ISP in San Jose?
@Home isn't available in my area, and I'd rather not pay for the $200-$300 equipment costs for Sprint's Broadband, so I guess I'm pretty much left with DSL. QWEST doesn't serve California as far as I know.
I'm mainly staying with national names since they generally have a little better (and are cheaper) customer service than your local guys. But if you know of any reliable Broadband service that falls around $50/month, then please let me know. Thanks.

pacbell works pretty well for me, their e-mail has problems fairly often however. I think I would look at earthlink as well, they have a free install promotion going on right now, the cost is just a bit higher though

XO is also a pretty good ISP as well for DSL. I use Pacbell and have went through problem after problem with them. My friend has XO and the only problem he had with it is a problem that Pacbell caused. 🙂
