Whats a good brand of Switch (hub) to get?

I like siemens but they are kind of hard to find. The new Netgear ones look like UFOs, real cool. HOw are those?

I personally go with Netgear... I found that they have the best price/perfomance/stability.

I've noticed that the latest Netgear stuff has much shorter warranties, maybe only 2 years instead of 5, in case that means anything. Plus, I personally don't like the UFO look, but to each his own. I just bought a fs105, longer warranty and I like the way it looks better anyway.

For home, and small office, the best brand to go with is:

The "It does not matter Brand" as long as it is inexpensive.

If there is a sale in the Mega Stores buy there.

Generally the Hawking brand is the current inexpensive for basic Network stuff.
