What's a good area near Anaheim to Visit?

My girlfriend and I have a Disney vacation planned and we are going to be staying at the holiday inn resort. What are some good local areas (clubs, bars, sight seeing, etc) that we can visit? Thanks guys!
 
Everything is sort of scattered in different parts of LA. But close by, you could probably check out The Block at Orange. If you don't mind driving a little further, The Pike in Long Beach.
 
Since your visiting Anaheim, visit Huntington and Newport Beach which are nearby. I heard Huntington has a good bar scene and visit fashion island on Newport Beach.

If you want to hit big waves, goto the Wedge off Newport Beach
