In the past, I have used the only piece of alarm software that looked appealing, Bluefive Alarm Clock:
http://bluefive.pair.com/alarm.htm

However, the mp3 support is most unreliable for reasons unknown (and the clock itself has a pretty unappealing GUI). Can someone reccomend me a good piece of software, preferably freeware, but will look into non-free software if needed.

I dont care how ugly the program is, the only real thing I need from the program is Mp3 support, and reliability. Thanks in advance

In WindowsXP i make a scheduled task that plays a song of my choice using Realplayer(you could use any player of your choice though) at 6:55 am every morning. Works perfectly.
