What's a good aftershave/equivalent?

I use an electric razor, and no matter how much I warm it up, how hot my shower was, how slow and light I go, or how I position my neck, I always end up getting some sort of razor burn on my neck. Said razor is a mid-range Norelco (model no longer produced), and I don't feel like shelling out $50+ in the off chance of finding a better razor.

Any aftershaves/equivalents that could help the situation?

Go to a fine shaving shop if you have one nearby. They should have something.

If not, then do a google for "Col. Ichabod Conk" or just "Col Conk". That dude makes some cool stuff. I have some almond after shave balm which is quite nice.
