What's a good 17" LCD under $300?

I have up to $300 for a monitor. I thinking maybe it's better to get a decent 17" LCD then spend that money on a 19" Flat screen.

Some of the ones on Newegg are by NU, BenQ, CTX, etc (brands I have never heard of before)

There is deal for a 17'' Dell LCD for $250. Check the hotdeals

This one has good specs for $269 17", 16ms response time, DVI.

There's an Acer right around $300, that has DVI and supposedly one of the best panels for gaming.

..found it - it's the AL1731 model

I 'll definately check the DELl and the Acer out. How about NU, CTX or BenQ. Have you head any experience with them or have you heard anything about them?
