What's a fast Sata/SataII driver that is also quiet???

It does not need to be big as it will only have the OS and applications installed. I'll have all data on another drive. It's for my gaming PC. Currently, I have some old Maxtor 120GB sata drive which is very loud and takes forever to load up maps in games such as BF2.

I just want a fast, quiet drive. What would you guys suggest? Lots of space is not a requirement. I've heard that the Raptors are overrated and in recent tests, the Seagate 7200.9 series drives had faster load times for games.

The Samsung Spinpoint P80/P120 drives are reasonably fast and very quiet. Fluid Dynamic Bearings FTW. Check out Silent PC Review for detailed noise measurements.

To get quieter than that, you have to go to 2.5" notebook drives. But that's a little extreme, and capacity is limited to <100GB.
