For windows, there's a "copy" command in "Edit" (top menu) in QT movie player. I think you can just Ctrl+C also and just paste into your imaging program. Simple, huh?
Oh, if you're not into the whole QT movie player thing and are using MPC to play your .movs then under "File" there's "Save image" which will save a .bmp.
Use Quicktime Alternative to get your Quicktime movies playing in WMP. Then go into WMP's options and disable hardware acceleration. Use PrintScrn. (Don't forget to re-enable hw acceleration when you're done) :beer:
