wait a few weeks and the 950D will be a $100 cheaper.
i have the P5GD2-deluxe, basically the predecessor to the P5LD. nice simple layout for both of them,
sometimes the second-tier MB's out OC the top tier. that happened with the P5GD (out-OC'ed the
P5AD in Anandtech tests, circa early 2005), and also the MSI 865 (out-OC'ed the MSI 875 in Tom's
Hardware tests, in 2003 ==>

wish someone would stick a microwave network analyzer up to these boards, for example measuring
transmission line characteristics of traces running between the CPU & memory. a vector network
analyzer (Anritsu or HP), to measure loss and phase change. maybe that would explain why some
boards OC better than other's.
