Dude single slot for 8800 GT and OCed thats bad!!!

Will you stop posting bad information, just because it is single slot and can get hotter doesn't mean it's bad. Especially when the factory overclock is covered by BFG's warranty.

I have to ask, why are you stuck with the card? Did you modify it and you can't RMA the card?

why did you waste $200 on that card JUST to TEST and make sure your previous one was defective?

-- I guess it's not a waste if you return it or something... but still

LOL of course the plan was always to return it :\ I just didn't want to waste any time doing research for something that might not even fix my problem. Now that I know it is a fix, I will purchase This Card

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I am always grateful

:\ Why not just keep the card you bought, instead of returning it and buying another that is going to only be slightly better. I mean if you bought some cheap-ass $20 card or something it would make sense, but not something like this. Otherwise, you should have something like 30 day's to return it right? Well, 30 day's should be plenty of time for nvidia and ati get some of their next-gen cards on the market and perhaps you can pick up something better for the same(about) price.
