What's a 3" (diagonally) screen in mm?? - SOLVED

I'm looking to convert what a 3" screen is to mm. If a screen is 3" diagonal, what does that make it height and length wise in mm? TIA

3" = 76 mm. If the aspect ratio is exatly 4:3, the width would be 60mm and the height would be 45mm. I think

I'll give you a hint:

76.2² = (4x)² + (3x)²

Solve for x, multiply by 4 & 3.

x = 15.24

W = 60.96 mm
H = 45.72 mm
