Whats a 2000 Accord worth?

My folks are selling their 2000 Accord with 30,000KM. The car is like brand new, but stepdad can't drive it as he had hip replacement surgery and has a hard time with the clutch.

So, we can (Mrs. Bernse and I) buy it off them for roughly what it would be worth. They're probably going to buy something like a CRV Automatic, so we would roughly pay whatever Honda would give them for it used. Any idea for blue book value (preferebly Canadian?) on it?

2000 4 Door Accord SE (Special Edition, I suppose)
4 Cyl
5 Spd
Loaded other than leather, power seats and sunroof.
Mint shape. Just like new.

Have you tried the Blue book price listings on MSN? I'm not sure how reliable the info provided really is.

Thats low mileage for a 2000, should bring a premium price. (roughly 19000 miles = 30000KM)

Thanks for the links. I'm trying to find one for Canadian prices. I know a site exists as I was linked to it from another site before, but be damned if I can find it now!

Either way, by looking at those sites above, it looks like it is going to hold its value damn well.

Best to call the bank you have an account with and ask the trade value, as dealers will pay widely varying prices. You can bet the online books will favor the dealer as most of those companies serve the dealer interests. Ask the LOAN value of the car, and you will have near the true value of it.
