What're you guys doing this weekend? I've got St. Anthony's festival in the North End of Boston today. I also need to muck through my cellar. The landlord decided to finally replace the leaking water heater for the people upstairs. His workers somehow thought it would be ok to let the old one drain onto the cellar floor, about 40 gallons worth. There are puddles EVERYWHERE. and for some reason they moved all my boxes off of a skid I had them on beforehand, so now my boxes are all ruined. NOT happy.

A bunch of us are going to the abandoned golf course and going to hit a few balls. Then probably gonna do some last minute partying before school starts.

today: working till 6:30 pm, probably picking up take-out on my way home, and my plan for the rest of the evening is tackling the two boxes + 1 duffel bag full of clothes in my bedroom that need to be put away.

same plan for tomorrow except I'll be targeting unpacking the kitchen (assuming I finish the bedroom tonight)

Wife is out of town this weekend so I have the place to myself.
Probably go through some of my building hardware and put it on craigslist.
Drink/eat/COD4.
I am thinking about rooting my phone but there looks like too many steps and places for things to go wrong.

Not much of anything exciting...After our "record-breaking" heat this week, (107 on Wednesday) it's cloudy and sprinkling...nearly unheard of here in August) so I'm going to get some weed & feed on the lawn once the sprinkles stop...then do some minor gardening work. Otherwise, I'm just going to enjoy the nice cool weather. (highs are supposed to be 80 or less)

They claim to not have enough. Need more. So I oblige.
I'm bored anyway. BIO 101 has little homework during the first week. And the weather is still nice so its time to get as many photos as possible. Also, a bunch of new gals were just hired, so they need pics. Some of them only last a week or two.

so, it turned out that a friend from high school that I haven't seen in a decade was at jersey city gay pride today, which was right below my office. we discovered this via facebook and, after I got out of work, I met him and some of his friends for dinner.

I thought it went well but then afterward he kinda blew me off, so now I'm just obsessing about it because I care way too much about what other people think of me and I can't figure out to what extent I actually got blown off versus how much of it is just in my super super drunk head... and that's my saturday night :p

Just finished it. Went to a parent's friend's daughter's wedding. Started at 5pm, ended at ???; we left at 11pm, they just put out fruit and refreshments while the bride/groom played stupid games. Mass exodus.

Bride and groom had no chemistry, groom had douchey friends making stupid, emotionless/insignificant speeches, neither bride nor groom could read their heartless scripts to incite any emotion.

Luckily, the wedding photographer was cute, and open bar.

Didn't do much of anything yesterday. I was supposed to take the CCNP Route exam but the scheduling didn't work out yesterday, about to go try again today.
