What'll happen to my GA-K8NF-9...

I've currently got 2x512 Corsair Value Select in my box, and I'd like to go up to 2 gigs. To do that, I was planning on purchasing another 2x512.

Will anything... untoward happen? Refusal to POST? Coming of the Apocalypse?

As always, any and all help will be appreciated.

Will I have to do anything, or will all of that be handled automatically?

Will there be a noticeable drop in performance?

Play with it where though? I did a search for the K8NF-9 (not extensive, but I did look) and I didn't see anything that explained what to do when your GA-K8NF-9 has all 4 DIMMs filled.

Set command rate to 2T in the BIOS (unless all the settings are at Auto) and make everything clocked to stock speeds.

I've got an old PS2 keyboard lying around, plus I've got the USB --> PS/2 adapter that I'm using.

Lonyo, thanks for the heads up. I'll give that one a try once I get home this evening.
