Whatever happened to this interplay game?

Star Trek: Secret of Vulcan Fury.

Fell off the map.

Probably would have sucked anyway.

I have (somewhere) the computer-animated preview of that game. Kirk, Spock, McCoy all rendered in their 1960's prime. Really well-done. I guess a bunch of suits just killed it. :(

TRP, the reason why I'm posting.

Decided to rip out the old VP2, and that's on it. It looked awesome.

Winter of 98 it was supposed to come out.

VP2? Was it on a Star Trek game? I remember it as a "movie" preview.

It was one of the best done sequences I have ever seen.

Any chance on an upload somewhere?

Virtual Pool 2 TRP.

I don't think I can upload, it's an executable that launches the proprietary movie format.

Ya, it got canned. It was just taking too long to get done from what I can tell.:(

I remember when that one got canned. Interplay was in dire financial situation at the time and the project was cancelled b/c it required more cash than Interplay could allocate. A bunch of other projects were cancelled at the time also. It was going to be 6 digital episodes following in the first series, with all the original voices, etc. Even the scripts were written by some prominent Star Trek writer. Too bad.
