Three are other version of it. I know the marines have Kawasaki dirt bikes that will run on any combustible liquig fuel you can get in the gas tank.

I'm just waiting for turbine cars to make a comeback. Yes, the fuel consumption isn't great, but they will run on pretty much any combustible liquid. You could fill the tank with peanut oil or with moonshine and a turbine wouldn't care.

One of the major drawbacks of turbines is the fact that they don't like speed changes. For helicopters, airplanes, and boats this is fine. But cars are difficult.

...HOWEVER, with hybrids being all the rage. A turbo-electric drivetrain is something that can be very much feasible.
