Can't imagine which software companies would be dumb enough to void agreements with Sony or Microsoft to make games for a flakey console.

well i thought squaresoft, namco, naughty dog and konami would be exclusive for Sony in the PSX days....

but you're right. i once read in a mag that "people don't really want a hammer, they want a hole in the wall"... i guess hardware is nothing without good games.

I saw it on G4 once on AOTS and it looks pretty cool. It's more targeted to the PC gamer hints th keyboard. Althouhg now with Xbox 360 and it's support of the downloadable games I doubt this will ever make it big time.

I have no idea what happened to the Phantom. However, I do know that it doesn't have a chance in hell anymore now that the Xbox360 is out and the PS3 is soon to follow, since both consoles have serious online content.

It was so obviously a load of BS from the start, I'm not sure how anyone could wonder what happened to it. The whole thing was either the dumbest idea ever or a scam to get some VC and skim off the top. Microsoft spends more on TV ads in a week for the 360 than Infinium Labs ever raised in capital. It will never ever see the light of day and it would have sucked if it did. HardOCP investigated the company, wrote an expose on them, got sued for libel, but won in court. Shows you the type of people that ran this joke of a company.
