I thought those were coming up in a couple of months out in Salt Lake City? But I haven't seen anything promoting them yet, even on NBC which I'm assuming is broadcasting the events. Granted, I don't watch NBC that much but you still think you'd see a promo every now and then. I guess with all the terrorism news and the holiday season now upon us, it'll be on the backburner until the week before it starts.

I enjoy the summer games way more, but bring on the luge!! Any favorite events for you guys?

Favorite event = all of them! I will veg in front of the TV during the olympics summer or winter (minus the 8 hours I'm working) And since I live close to Canada, I get to actually watch them! :) Since they don't water down the olympics into a highlight reel format on their networks. Anyway, I will watch everything...curling included :) Go USA!

I was glad Sydney got to host the Summer games two years ago, but being in America it sucked because all the major news web sites and ESPN would tell you the outcome before you got a chance to view it when you got home. It took all the suspense out of it. I guess one hemisphere will always be screwed over that way.

I don't really give a rip about any events except hockey. And Canada is gonna win it this year, mark my words! :)

On a side note, have any Canadians seen the new Labbat(I think it's Labbat, or else Molson) commercial where the US customs guy asks the bus driver if anything is being brought into the country. And the driver just says a bunch of Canadian t-shirts(with the entire bus having Team Canada fanatics painted up and sitting calm). Then the big fat guy at the back stands up and shouts "And a big ol' can of whoop-ass!". Man, that commercial cracks me up, you Americans don't know what's coming. Come February, you'll feel the wrath of the mighty Canadian olympic teams. :D
