Whatever happened to Novint Falcon?

I remember trying the demo unit out in Frys (or CompUSA?) and I thought it was really cool. I really wanted one but it was too pricey for me back then. Now I couldn't find it for sale anywhere. Is the Falcon controller still relevant? Is there any newer game that supports it? Anyone here owns one? I really wish I could play the latest FPS with it.
 
It's all sold out on their website. Either they're making an upgrade for it or they gave up on it. I don't think it's been selling very well, which isn't really surprising for how expensive it is.
