I believe this is it. When it became clear that his career didn't start on the street, he lost a lot of cred. He isn't like most rappers that come up by doing rap battles (much like "8 Miles") and selling tapes out of the back of their cars. He had a silver spoon in his mouth from day one, so a lot of people don't like him.
