Haha, saw one of those "Midnight Rock" commercials on TV trying to sell these compilation CD's and they played a track from Hootie. Whatever happened to those guys anyway? 😀

lead singer Darius Rucker is a solo "artist" now. I must say Hootie's awfulness did make me appreciate Huey Lewis' music a little more 🙂

They came out with a couple records since then, both of them tanked though. It's a shame, I thought some of the songs on Cracked Rear View and Fairweather Johnson were really good. Some of the ballads like 'Earth Stopped Cold at Dawn' and 'Let It Breathe' were just beautiful.
