whatever happened to frozen yogurt?

what was it, the 80's when frozen yogurt shops were taking over.

now, i don't think i've seen one in years.

Freezing yogurt so its the same texture as ice cream was the worst thing ever. If I want a frozen smoothie, I have a frozen smoothie. I don't want something that tastes like a smoothie but feels like ice cream.

I suspect the LOW FAT craziness died down to make room for the LOW CARB craziness, frozen yogurt being the low-fat ice cream substitute.

Yep, not many but they are around. Pretty good, too 🙂

They are everywhere in WI. Kopps, Leons, Gilles, Cullvers, Omega....

And it's WAY better than Ice Cream

They closed the TCBY in my area. Very sad because it was my very favorite. Frogurt is a million times better than ice cream (to me, at least!). 😀 I loved getting strawberry cheesecake frogurt, or vanilla with chocolate and butterscotch chips on top. Yum!
