Whatever happened to Fiona Apple?

She released "When the Pawn" some time ago...and since then nothing seems to have happened. I've been awaiting new work from her, but no one seems to know when, or if, that will happen.

By the way, I'm obviously not gonna get bitchy if you post your opinion about her, but please try to keep the question I actually ASKED in mind, and not allow this thread to degenerate into something else.
