I was following the cyberwings debacle for awhile. Whatever happened to that company? Did people ever get refunds?

I waited too long to request a refund I was a sheep, paid $29.50 for 100 different "zap this zap that" accounts, and now the infamous Shawn the CEO is gone.

Same here. If I had lost $50+ then it'd be worth requesting a refund but I hope he enjoys my $29.50 that piece of sh!t loser scam artist.

I should have paid with a cc rather than PayPal (slaps myself upside the head).

Does anyone have any information on where he was going to relocate his data center in the Northern Virginia area? I wonder how far the migration from Maine to NoVA got before things tanked - that's if the migration actually even took place.

some of my hyperthreaded graviton waves accidently hit his server farm rendering the magnetic spectrum of his ip packets useless as far as the electrons with no spin were concerned.

In short: I'm a planet and I will not apologize for being such.

i dunno... back in the days when it was a hot deal, the deal just seemed too good to be true, and alot of people had already been complaining of not having their service activated, among many other customer service problems.

Considering he was spending ridiculous amounts of money(i.e. $6000 for a limo rental), he probably doesn't have any left.

Does anyone have proof he was really spending the money though? I know he "gave away" cash one night, but how hard would it be to setup a unix shell and get into the chatroom as several different people, then only give money to those people.

I am reminded of a Steve Miller Band song every time I see "cyberwings" :p

This is the guy who claimed that there was a $6000 charge for a limo rental: www.dwbridges.com.
