Whatever happened to Claudia Christian (Susan Ivanova of Babylon5)?

I just came across this:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1520150/

StarHyke. All six episodes went straight to dvd. Christian plays Captain Belinda Blowhard (sic). Another character plays Chief Engineer Sally Popyatopov (get it? pop ya top off).

Anyway its kinda weird. I always thought she looked older than she was and would really go down hill when she hit her forties, but either she had some work done, or she has aged well:

Not bad for 46,

Anyway, she made one of the best career moves leaving B5 just before the truly awful final season with the telepaths.

Too bad one of the current crop of "scifi" shows doesn't have her on as a guest star.

It's not exactly a "great career move" if you left your job and didn't find any decent work afterward.

I dunno. To be part of the truly awful last season of B5 or to leave on a high note? I'd say leaving is the way to go. Hey, she was never a great actress and it wasn't like she thought she could become a movie star. She saw the writing on the wall for B5 and didn't want to take a pay cut just to hang around.

Unfortunately she seems to have fallen out of scifi favor. She's not one of those actors who seem to appear and reappear on scifi shows as guest stars or as stars of the hideous SyFy Saturday night movie specials.

Gotta love her "God sent me" scene:

Yeah, most of those actors (like Tony Todd and Bruce McGill (who played Major Ryan from the Severed Dreams episode)) tend to be in a lot of shows.

Did you know the story about how Bruce McGill got that part?
The producers saw another actor who they thought would be perfect for the part and contacted him for the role. They had gotten their actors mixed up and when Bruce McGill showed up they were like wtf? When they realized their mistake they decided to go with McGill anyway and later just smiled knowlingly when people said what a great casting move McGill was.

Oh, and it was Phil Morris in the Severed Dreams episode, not Tony Todd.
