Whatever happened to British Knight shoes?

Good question, although I would assume the answer is that they couldn't hang with the big boys and had to drop out. I never liked them anyhow, and I never owned a single pair, but my brother liked them, and I remember them well.

What made them the best??

I suspect they went the way of Kangaroo and LA Gear.

whoa...that brings back memories. I used to have a pair of BKs when I was a kid living in England. I bought them because their comercial was so cool.

BK shoes? Maybe it was all the people commenting on them in school making you feel like you made the wrong choice with your purchase of Burger King shoes. I know I picked on a few people myself and this was when we were so broke I wore no name flea market shoes.

Some dirtball at work still wears a pair of BKs. :p

I never owned a pair of BKs, but I am ashamed to admit I had a pair of the generic pumps...I never got the Reebok ones, I had some other lame brand..dont remember which ones, though. :(

I thought they were pretty okay shoes. I think I only had one pair though. I remember they always advertised them on that game show with the big fake house the kids had look for stuff in.

Wow....I never noticed they weren't available anymore. They probably got bought out by Nike or something.

they still make/sell them

maybe the shoe company just quit giving millions of dollars to miscreants to advertise for them
