What you guys doing to wake up in the morn?!

I set an alarm, put it across the room from the bed, and convince myself that all hell will break loose if I don't get out of bed and get ready when the alarm goes off

Put your alarm clock on the other side of the room so you have to get out of bed to turn it off.

I set my biological alarm clock in my mind before going to sleep and I simply wake up when I need to. I have done this all my life.

Nope, as long as I need to be up and I spend a little time concentrating on that time I will wake up. Always have. I can set a regular alarm clock but I always wake up a minute or two before it is to go off, turn it off, and get up and hop in the shower.

I've always had trouble waking up on time for school until i did this. Having to get up out of the bed makes a difference from rolling over and smacking the alarm clock, then rolling back into original position and sleeping for another few hours.

Anyone have any advice on how to sleep in till 10am? I'm up at 7:30 with or without the alarm.

Stay up til 5 AM. That usually does it.

That depends on the person... I can do that and still get up, hit snooze, and get back in bed... repeatedly. I've done that for an hour once I think.

I have an alarm clock with two alarms set 15 minutes apart, so if the first one doesn't get me out of bed the second one will. Also, make sure you have to get out of bed to turn it off.

I set two alarms. One regular alarm clock, and then my stereo system. It has 4 subs, and literally shakes the walls when it goes off, yet most of the time, I can sleep through it for atleast an hour. It really sucks, and I've missed so many classes because of it. As soon as someone turns on the light though, I'm immediately up/pissed off. I honestly don't know what I can do to get myself to wake up in the morning.

If the room is dark, I can sleep all day. If the blinds/curtains suck and the morning sun is bright in the morning, I tend to wake up at 8ish unless I'm really tired.

I've done that before.. the solution for me was to move the alarm elsewhere..

If it's loud enough, put the alarm behind something, or in your closet.. something that makes you have to move or lift something to turn it off.

It's not fool proof but it can help.

Wake up, roll over, go back to sleep...under no circumstances should you sit up, turn on the light, or get out of bed.

If that doesn't work, then you'll probably go a lot further in life than my lazy butt will.
