Lenny Abbey was searching for advice on removing Tabasco stains when he came across a website that tells students how to blow up their school ? specifically Turner Fenton Secondary School in Brampton.
The Atlanta man's discovery brought Peel Region police to the school Monday to find the site's author, known only as DiLiTHiUM.
"I was shocked when I found this file that told people how to wreak havoc on this school," the 68-year-old retired electrical engineer said in a phone interview from Atlanta.
He said he was looking for advice on how to clean Tabasco sauce from bedsheets.
"It showed a map of the building. It told you how to blow up the boilers, how to introduce noxious chemicals such as Tabasco into the school's ventilation system and fly a bedsheet as a sign at the school as the chimney collapses."
Abbey spent last weekend trying to contact police and school officials but couldn't get anybody to take him seriously.
