just wondering at what age people remember their first memories

I was born in 1981 and my first memories are from 1985 or so when I went to visit family in Korea. (I was almost 4)

I was born in 1984, and the first memory that I can think of is one time I bumped my head on something and it hurt, but I decided that it didn't hurt enough to cry. I was probably 3.

born 1970

I have at least one vague memory from when I was probably 2. We moved to a new town when I was that age, but I still remember a little of the layout of the first house.

Pretty similar.. Born in 1984, first memory I can think of is when I bumped my head on something, but I needed stitches, around 3yrs old as well. Second memory would be when I put a red toy car down a slide and it broke.. I believe I cried. :(

I was born in 1934.

The first thing I remember was workmen coming to our house to trailer off my father's inboard motor boat.

I was less than two years old. That's all I remember at that age.

Haha, my next memories include tripping over a dog, knocking my head on the table of a corner and getting stitches, and getting myself wedged behind something and dislocating my shoulder when they tried to pull me out. :) All around 3 years old. My babysitter ended up telling my mom she didn't want to be responsible for me anymore after the stitches and a few dislocated shoulders. :D

Dec 1957 My first memories are of the neighbors dog that scared me, a daushand named missie. We moved from the house where I was born in 59 and I don't remember a thing about the house or the neighbors or even my Mom and Dad at that time but I remember that dog like it was yesterday

Am I the only person who can't clearly differentiate between my own memories from that young of an age and things that I know happened, but I might not be remembering? I have pretty specific memories of preschool from when I was 3, but before that it gets pretty hazy.

February of 1963 and my first memory that I can document is when President Kennedy was shot on November 22 1963. I verified this with my mother recently when I described exactly what she was doing at the moment the news broke on TV. It kind of freaked her out that I could describe in such detail what she was doing and how she reacted to something when I was only 9 months old....but I do have a photographic memory and I remember lots of things from early childhood and all other parts of my life in very vivid detail.
